Return & Reship Policy

Due to the nature of prescription medications and cold chain requirements, our policy is structured around specific scenarios. We stand behind every order we dispatch.

Overview

Prescription medications are regulated products — once dispensed by a licensed pharmacist, they cannot be returned, restocked, or resold under any circumstances. This is a regulatory requirement, not a business choice.

However, ColdRxMeds takes full responsibility for our role in the supply chain — the quality, accuracy, and cold chain integrity of every order we dispatch. Where a problem occurs that is within our control, we resolve it at no cost to you.

Our commitment: If your order arrives temperature-compromised, lost, incorrect, or damaged, we will reship or replace it. No lengthy returns process, no cost to you — just contact us within the timeframes below.

Eligible Scenarios — What We Cover

The following are covered under our return and reship policy. In each case, contact us at info@coldrxmeds.com with your order number and supporting details.

RESHIP AT NO CHARGE

Temperature-compromised shipment

If your medication arrives showing evidence the cold chain was compromised, do not use it. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the packaging and temperature indicator. We reship your full order at no charge.

RESHIP AT NO CHARGE

Lost in transit

If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of the expected delivery date, contact us. We open a carrier investigation; where a shipment is confirmed lost, we reship within 3 business days of confirmation.

CORRECTED AT NO CHARGE

Wrong medication or quantity

If you receive a medication or quantity that does not match your confirmed order, contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Do not use any medication you believe was incorrectly dispensed.

ASSESSED & REPLACED

Significantly damaged packaging

If outer packaging is significantly damaged in a way that may have compromised the medication, photograph it before opening and contact us within 5 business days. We assess and replace where the medication has been compromised.

Not Eligible for Return

  • Medications you simply changed your mind about after dispensing.
  • Orders where the prescription information provided was inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Medications stored improperly after successful delivery.
  • Damage reported outside the timeframes above.

Because dispensed prescription medications cannot be restocked or resold, we are unable to accept physical returns. Our remedy in all covered cases is reshipment or replacement, not a physical return.

How to Submit a Claim

Email info@coldrxmeds.com with: your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos (packaging, temperature indicator, or the incorrect item). The more detail you provide up front, the faster we resolve it.

Response Timelines

  • Initial response: within one business day.
  • Temperature-compromised or incorrect orders: reship arranged promptly upon review.
  • Lost-in-transit: reship within 3 business days of carrier confirmation.

Cold Chain & Temperature

Because cold chain integrity is central to medication safety, temperature-related claims are our highest priority. If a shipment arrives with a tripped temperature indicator or other evidence of an excursion, do not use the medication and contact us immediately. We replace it at no charge — patient safety is never a cost question.

B2B Partner Programs

For TPA, PBM, cost containment, and employer programs, reship and replacement terms are confirmed during onboarding and documented in the program agreement, including any program-specific reporting requirements. The same core commitment applies: issues within our control are resolved at no cost.
