Qulipta (atogepant) is an oral calcitonin gene–related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist indicated for the preventive treatment of migraine in adults. It works by blocking the activity of CGRP, a protein involved in migraine attacks, helping to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine episodes. Qulipta is taken once daily and is not used to treat acute migraine attacks once they occur.
