Omnitrope (somatropin) is a biosimilar form of human growth hormone produced by recombinant DNA technology. It is prescribed for pediatric patients with growth failure due to inadequate secretion of endogenous growth hormone, Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, small for gestational age without catch-up growth, and idiopathic short stature.
